HUNGARY

Very lucky that we have chosen Budapest as our final destination of the Christmas trip.  A city with great vibes and spectacular night views, well-established transport network.  Breakfast price was very impressive as well!

Our AirBnB host provided a much faster way to visit this stunning small town in less than an hour drive.  We caught the last visitor bus as number of tourists will be largely reduced in 2020.

Amsterdam 2017

The Netherlands

Amsterdam was the final stop before my return to Hong Kong.  Reuniting with Liz and other SG buddies, we stayed at an apartment in Weesp for four days and at the same time walked through the city centre.  Perfect ending for saying goodbye to my dearest Europe.  Tak!  See you again soon!

Switzerland

2017

My sister and brother-in-law were on the honeymoon trip during my exchange period.  After visiting me in Denmark and having their own private time in Germany, I joined them (and acted as a third wheel) for the Swiss trip, in Luzern, Lauterbrunen and Zermatt.  Thanks for the cheesy meals and warm treats xoxo.

NICE

France

2017

Located along the coastal area of the southern part of France, this city stands out owing to the provision of seductive seafront and sunshine, her elegance and simplicity, and the unique architecture of the Town.  I would say that Nice is a place painted with lots of colours and with multicultural people.  Just chill, be naked and sit on the beach!  You can kill a lot of time by doing that!

Next to Nice, France, this small city is widely recognised as one of the most expensive and wealthiest cities / countries in the world.  It actually reminded me of Macau and Hong Kong.

Rome

2017

Rome is so far the most ancient city that I have ever been.  The unique historical remains did really catch my eyes, and all my college history class's memories came back all of a sudden.  Three days were definitely not enough for us as there are copious amounts of place worth visiting!

Venice

2017

This water city has been capturing a lot of attentions from us contributing to her romance, history, culture and the style of the Renaissance.  The stunning city is surrounded by a series of canals and waterways.  Visits to small islands, like Burano Island, are also popular for colour-seekers like me!

Classical music's all around the capital city.  Get your tickets ready if you are keen on watching musical concerts and opera performance!  I was totally immersed into the romantic Baroque atmosphere when I was walking around the street.

Prague

2017

Many people wish to go to Prague once they have seen how beautiful Prague is.  In fact, you will never be disappointed by Prague as the food and drinks here are very affordable, tourist attractions are extremely fairytale-styled, the joy and vibes here never gonna vanish.  Yes, Prague is absolutely astonishing and it did surprise me.  We got a lot of remarkable memories in here too.

Just a gentle reminder for the readers, please wake up earlier, or otherwise, you will have to spend a lot of time queuing and waiting!

The United Kingdom

2017

Welcome to our second home, the United Kingdom!  Finally, we got to see a lot of familiar things (double decker buses, telephone cabins, double lines on road, the underground, HK food and bubble tea!) and very high-fashioned British all over the streets.  Never gonna forgot the British accents and how good-looking people were in London!

Thanks for taking us for a tour and the roast duck, Shaun!

Spain 2017

Everywhere in Spain is equipped with restaurants, shops, happy people, food and songs.  When I was in Madrid and Barcelona, I remembered that there are a lot of plazas, historical buildings around the corner.  Surprisingly, I saw even much more people holding pints of beers or wines and talking to passersby freely and comfortably on the streets.  Just enjoy yourself in these passionate cities!

ICELAND 2017

I could never ever imagine of visiting Iceland, an elegant, distinctive, marvellous but dangerous country, during my exchange.  Although I got no luck to watch the polar lights, just riding over the country packed with ice everywhere was already worth the price and time.  Strongly advise you to have your international driving license ready, and save enough money for your stay there!

Moscow 2014

A sudden trip led by the local government

My college recommended me to be the HK teen rep. for overseas exchange in Nov 2013 and I got the offer in  Jul 2014 just right before my Reg-day of HKUST.  I was luckily to be guided by other uni students who "carried" me throughout this rushy and "No Worries" trip.  It was an unforgettable experience, with lots of unanticipated incidents and cultural challenges.
